First, most teenagers do not Drink & Drive, that is a general statement there is no research to support this claim. However in response to this question....

Most teenagers drink and drive simply because they have no designated driver. They cannot talk to their parents, for example call them and let them know that they are too drunk to drive. Also drinking is a curiosity for teenagers and they are interested in alcohol and because they have no experience with it, often become to enebriated to drive, but do so with bad judgement anyway.

Most don't. The ones who do have a false sense of immortality that is not uncommon at this stage of development or simply are functioning with impaired judgment. Advice for teens and parents- Have an agreement that a safe ride home is always available without lecture. Consequences, if appropriate, can wait until everyone is safely at home and has had some sleep.

i dont know but it really pisses me off!
I mean i can kinda see what the guy above me is sayingg...and i guess it depends on where you are living..but where im from they have a special service where you can call to have a car come get you and you dont have to pay..its just a volunteer service to help lessen this problem.
i also think that when youre under the influence, espeically as a teen, i mean it really doesnt seem like much/nothing can go wrong.
however, theres also the thought that its not just about them endangering themselves, but also others.

my friend was killed in an accidnet...not related to substance abuse...but by careless mistakes. and im glad that the media is updating itself to show that teen drinking and driving is a problem..but at the same time...even without substance abuse lives can be changed in an instant. Your question is flawed. The reality is most teenagers don't drink and drive.

Your witty facebook quote is rather going to cajole infants to no longer drink and stress. somebody could throw you a parade for all the solid you're doing to your city. A key-to-the-city sort experience could be coming your way as quickly as the mayor gets wind of this. heavily nonetheless, no longer something you assert is going to count number. in case you assert it over the internet it relatively is expecially genuine. Scientificly, and psychologicaly conversing, until eventually you're 22-25 (based on the guy) your suggestions tells you all the time "it won't/won't have the ability to take place to me." it is why infants are continuously doing issues they understand are dumb.

human nature at a point has a urge to do what you are told not to do. As a child we seek to be grown before our time and drinking is a way of feeling grown and on the edge. It useless though. You get addicted and then you cant kick the habit.

Unfortunately because they can. (Some) mommies and daddies buys them a car and let them hit the road and could care less about who they will kill on the road. They just don't want their children in their face.So they give them the keys to a BRAND NEW CAR! Parents are not teaching their children responsibility.

I think 'most' is a little too broad. The ones that do it are basically selfish and stupid with no regard for their own safety or that of others. It really doesn't bother me if they die as long as they do it on their own.

I don't think "most" teenagers do. The ones who do DWI, do it because they don't believe "it" could really happen to them. They're so wrong and, yes, they're f#*king idiots.
