~I would send each of them to their rooms for time-out. When they agreed to behave, then I'd let them come out.

To the first part of the question, there isn't much we can do. The tension between Israel and Hezbollah may run deeper than diplomacy can reach.

It could play out big. Any formal conflict in that region might be the spark that ignites WWIII when you consider who supports whom (US support of Israel, Iran behind Hezbollah, and the Russians (not entirely impotent) at the least 'friendly' with Iran). There is also that little distraction with North Korea which could set off Japan and the tension between India and Pakistan. Get a few 'smaller' wars going, have some major allies decide their causes can work together well, and there we go.

i think this is a begining of a full blown war. however, unlike the popular opinion that this fighting is all hezboallahs falut for kidnapping those two isreali slodiers, if u look to see waht provocted them, this whole fighting is really all iraels fault to begin with. they are the ones who took in over 100 palestinian hostages without expecting a consequence for doing so. so hezbollah was just reacting to what israel did. when hezbollah was ready to negotiate by swapping prisoners, israel used force by bombing lebenon, now they are threatning lebenons shaky democracy and the lives of the 25,000 americans who live there. I think the only real soultion is to give palestine back to the palestinians. and if this is impossible at least spilt the country in half. both sides may not be enirely happy, however it would give an opportunty for peace to be achived.

Remember Folks that 2 wrongs don't make a right,Hezbollah was stupid for kidnapping those soldiers, but Israel's response has been terrible. And remember folks that Israel have not send troops yet,I know everybody remembers The 18 year war between Those two nations.Who Left out of there with it's head between it's legs.I have a friend who works for Amnesty International,He told me that there's a joke out there that, "That you can walk into Lebanon but you don't know how your going to walk out.Israel already knows that feeling with the 18 year war it had with Lebanon.Nobody's going to use nuclear weapons because if Israel fires off theirs the whole world is over because everybody else is going to fire off theirs too.People got nuclear weapons but ain't nobody's that stupid. They use that stuff as bargaining chips folks!I'm not taking no sides on this situation because we shouldn't.These are governments who use their people for gain in anyway, all governments do this to make us take sides like were two women fighting in a bar.

Maybe it's time to stop believing that EVERYBODY has an answer to this conflict. Hezbollah attacked, Israel is answering militarily. Can't really blame them. But here's one: Iran HAS ties with terrorist organisations (in contrast to Saddam: he had a state at his disposal to terrorise his own people - but that's what any dictator does, without getting removed), namely Hezbollah, and Ahmadinedschad openly WANTS WMD. Iraq got invaded, while Iran won't even be facing economic sanctions by the UN Security Council. What does that tell us? Love your country, but fear your government, if only for its twisted lies!

You can't take someone’s home and just give it to someone else and expect him or her to be happy about it. It can't possibly work that way.

How would you feel if the UN gave me your home and I came in and threw you and your family out into the street and took everything that you had.

Think about what you are saying.

There is nothing to do but give Palestine back to the Palestinians. This is impossible now so we need to find an equitable solution. The country needs to be divided by the UN in such a way that the Palestinians actually can live their lives with out roadblocks and Israeli interference. This will still make neither side happy but it will at least give peace a chance.

Start building your shelter or pray to God you get killed in the initial blast. This thing is going to develop and I'm behind Israel on this one. Kill every single damn muslim out there, they are all terrorists you only need look at New York 9/ll, London 7/7, Madrid, Bali, Mumbai the list is endless. Until the world is clear of the threat of the muslim infidels none of us are safe. I say to Israel bomb Syria, Lebanon and Iran for every Israeli that is murdered. Women and children killed in the muslim countries what can I say - collateral damage - you get that in any war so bring it on.

Just hold our breath! Isreal has nuclear weapons and could unleash them on the other countries. That have been harrassing them for years. They would drop one on them in a heart beat if they had one. Balance of power is all that has kept Isreal alive this long. It is a real scarey situation.
Before the countries fighting didn't have nuclear weapons and knew that they were eventually going to win.
This is a whole new ball game and a scarey one.

Nasrallah has started speaking about (God forbid) hitting Tel Aviv.

Lebanon still has another 12,000 missiles pointed at Israeli towns right now, while Israel must also contend with attacks out of Gaza and Samaria.

I would like to see Israel give Iran and Syria 24 hours to stop the rocket attacks or be invaded. Then follow through. Every time some idiot renegade Muslim fires at Israel then bomb Iran and Syria.

Actually I see it as one of the signs of the End Times. I do not believe anything can be done about it satisfactorily. There hasn't been peace in the Middle East and I don't think there ever will this side of Heaven.

Peace Be With You,
