I'm temporarily taking care of my sister's kitten while she finds a new place. I want Gizzy (my sister's cat) and Callie and Charlie (my two cats) to all get along, but they just try to fight, especially Charlie! Any suggestions as to how to help them get used to each other?

The tuna idea sounds like it would work, the only problem is...I don't have tuna! Do you know if there's anything I can use, instead of tuna?

The bird-cage idea and towel idea are both sound, in my experience.

I think any tinned fish with a strong scent could take the place of tuna... or perhaps canned food.

Seriously, open a can of tuna... drip the juice on the kitten. Put it on a bowl for the adult cats and then a tiny bit for the kitten in a different room. When they are done put them in the same room together. The other cats will lick the kitten which will make it feel good and give the other cats the thought that the kitten brought them the tuna.... works every time. Best wishes

Well u could get like a big bird cage thing and leave Gizzy in there and let ur cats just get use to them that way....when times passes, let him out just for short period of times (like only when around during day) then maybe they'll get use to them.....also get a towel for each cat and rub the cats (one towel for each cat). Do it enough so there scent goes on there...then put it under the cats feeding bowls and that way they'll get use to the cats!!! It may take awhile though!!

Let the cats get used to each other if they leave one another alone cool. If they start to play Great!! If they start to scratch and bite then put them in seperate rooms!!

animals can get also jealous. My dog use to get mad with my sister's dog when it got close to me. The best thing to do is let them be apart of each other if not they will just fight.

put them both in cages then put the cages face to face with each other if one of the cats is willing to calm down then the other might follow

u should put them on opposite ends of the house then bring them closer and closer day in and day out until they r in the same room. then let them work it out. if it dosent end out well then theyll probably never get along!

good luck!
