Morality is not a theist attribute, unless the theist needs a "divine" code of conduct as inspiration (or retribution) to be good. Atheists tend to be more moral in many respects than theists are.

Values and morals are learned traits. They do not belong to one group of people. Some Christians could be more moral than Athiests and some Athiests could be more moral than Christians. Everyone's morals and values are at least slightly different. These are very subjective attributes.

Any easy question, certainly we see many of the values and morality here in Answers in Many Christians spewing intolerance for Muslims, Buddist, Hindi's, Jews and even denominations of Christianity.
We have potty- mouthed bible quoting Christians that would make Jesus grimace and say "Forgive them, Father".
Atheists as a whole are just as moral and often have more values than Christians. For sure they are not condemning others to hellfire every time they disagree with them!
Atheists are not the ones plunging us into world war 111, either. That should answer your question!

Many will be the same as Christians because morality was around long before Christianity and religion never held the franchise on morality and values.. . though it falsely claims to have invented them, no honesty!
But there will be some big exceptions where we view some of the things that Christians think are moral as totally the opposite, that's because of the absolutist viewpoint they have whereas ours is a relative one,
We apply reason and intelligence to each situation as it arises to determine what would bring the greatest good in that individual circumstance, we are flexible whereas religions are rigid and dogmatic, dead , ossified, out of date, out of time and on the wrong side of history.
Hey, it's too big a subject to go into here and I'm tired..that's a few thoughts anyway..Good night and Myth bless you!

There is nothing wrong with being atheists, they just chose not to believe in barbaric religions, and God. After I read Davinci Code, I kind of questioned Jesus and true purpose of church. Look up word faith, and you will see what I mean. Besides, religious people are mostly racist, because religion separates people, make us ignorant. Tell me if a white, Christian man would allow and give his blessings to his daughter if she she chose a black man as her husband. NO, he would not. I would be damned. Religion is bunch of fabricated stories and was created to control us and our destiny. So yes, athiest do have morals, they just don't chose to believe in something that is not proven to be a fact, just a myth. That is GOD, and other Bulls***. Thanks for the smart question.

The same as you are I. Just because someone has a different belief doesn't mean they have different values or morals.

"An Atheist loves himself and his fellow man instead of a god. An Atheist knows that heaven is something for which we should work now - here on earth - for all men together to enjoy. An Atheist thinks that he can get no help through prayer but that he must find in himself the inner conviction and strength to meet life, to grapple with it, to subdue, and enjoy it. An Atheist thinks that only in a knowledge of himself and a knowledge of his fellow man can he find the understanding that will help to a life of fulfillment. Therefore, he seeks to know himself and his fellow man rather than to know a god. An Atheist knows that a hospital should be built instead of a church. An Atheist knows that a deed must be done instead of a prayer said. An Atheist strives for involvement in life and not escape into death. He wants disease conquered, poverty vanquished, war eliminated. He wants man to understand and love man. He wants an ethical way of life. He knows that we cannot rely on a god nor channel action into prayer nor hope for an end to troubles in the hereafter. He knows that we are our brother's keeper and keepers of our lives; that we are responsible persons, that the job is here and the time is now." ~ Madalyn Murray (later O'Hair), preamble to Murray v. Curlett, 27 April 1961

They are not that different from that of Christians, Pastafarians, Muslims, Jews, Hindus, Zoroastrians, etc.
Right is right and wrong is wrong, we just don't need some invented deity to point out the finer details.
Unless, of course, that invented deity is The Flying Spaghetti Monster, in which case, bring him on.
