That's what my grandmother says, and she has read a LOT.

I used to think she was full of it, but the more I read about U.S. foreign policy and our insatiable war machine, the more I'm starting to wonder if perhaps she is onto something here. Just wondering if anyone has concrete proof that he is not the antichrist so I can put her overactive mind at ease when I visit next weekend. Thanks!

NO! I looked it up in wikipedia, he is married and has a son.

The Anti-Christ is/will be unmarried and has no children.

I don't know much about the guy that you're talking about, but as a Christian who has studied the Revelation thoroughly, if he meets these descriptions, it is a possibility:

The anti-christ will talk peace.

He will rise from Europe, Rome, or somewhere in that area.

He will gain power very quickly.

He will be young and charming, and will swoon crowds by the millions.

He knows the Bible.

You will start seeing him on world news a lot, and probably will hear about what a shining star he is.

I suggest that you read the Left Behind series (it's much easier to understand than the prophetic symbolism of the Bible) if you haven't already. It may make things a little more clear.

Actually Richard Perle is known in Washington circles as "The Prince of Darkness," Perle is associated with the American Enterprise Institute and the Project for the New American Century, both of which have been prominent behind-the-scenes architects of the Bush administration's foreign policy, in particular its push for war with Iraq.

You're a dumba$$, who don't know jacksh*t about what your talking about, the Antichrist will come out of Europe! He will come from a country that falls into the boundaries of what use to be the old roman empire!

Perle just doesn't fit the antichrist criterion in a lot of ways.

For the Lords sake alone, "would you throw that cross into the river!"
Have you not heard that a living God is Alive? You, yourself, or me myself, can not change history, but a living God my be able to change history unless she just does not believe it is in our best interest to do so. Also she may believe in, or rule by, "free will."
Maybe, heavens no, please, she believes in "free enterprise" Then we have a real problem because she may also believe in "no regulations."

The more I write about, the more I think you should ask her what she thinks, I mean you girlfriend.
