You know because you can't get that person off your mind. You develop a healthy obsession with that person (like wanting to be with them all the time - not stalking them). Thinking about them all the time is another sign that you are in love. Making personal sacrifices for that person that you would not do for just anyone is the ultimate sign.

When there is not a doubt in your head that your partner is the one that u wanna be with for the rest of your life. When u would do anything for them. When they influence your every thought and action. When u miss them so much when they are away that u feel like ur heart is breaking and when they are near you feel so whole and like nothing can bring you down off of the cloud that u are floating on.

I have never been in love before but my mom who passed on said when you find Mr. Right you will know. The feelings I have now are wonderful. I think about the person all the time. We finishe each others sentences. We know what each other are thinking before we say it. I can be myself. I feel like I am on a cloud.

First you must be able to define the meaning of "in love". After several failed attempts at staying in love, I decided to search for the true meaning of the term. My search took me to a book called, Real Love by Greg Baer. I believe it is a must read for anyone actually interested in the true meaning of these loosely used words. -ad

you know when you're in love. love is loving someone for their weaknesses as well as their strengths. love is having patience and compassion. some people think that love is when there is that butterfly feeling in your stomach and when you talk on the phone all night about nothing, it is when all of that wears off and you still are there and you are still in love. love is when infatuation wears off. love is so many things i could probably sit up here and type all day about what love is i would run out of ink on yahoo answers. but most importantly love is when you know it when no one else influences your feelings on love. love is not sex and sex is not love. but also more importantly love is knowing that you are in love and not having to second guess.

If you are not sure you are in love than you are probably not in love yet. When you are in love you are willing to do anything for that special person and you just feel differently about life.
