Be clear!
Be honest!
Keep it simple!

Realize, you can not “make” someone feel anything anyway; they will either be irritated or not based upon their own history. Some of my African American friends use the "N" word to each other and with certain white friends all of the time, but if a person out of the group were to say the same thing they would be upset. The anger is about how they feel about past experiences. It has nothing to do with what the person saying it meant.

It is the same way with emotions. If my sister was hurt by a drunk driver and someone made a joke about drinking and driving; the joke may be funny, but not to me because of my past.

If he is a loser and takes it out on you then you are well rid of him any way.

If you are trying to let him know that you like him, then the best way is too start out slow, especially if he hasn't indicated how he feels towards you. Start by just saying that you like hanging around him, and just smile "matter of factly" like. As if not to be too forward. See what kind of reaction you get from him. If it seems to sit ok with him, then wait a few weeks before proceeding any further. Just observe how things go between the two of you. You could throw in a couple of flirts here and there...without being too obvious or like you are trying to hard. And, just remember to be yourself. Good luck!!

Go with the TRUTH... let the chips fall where they may.

I don't think you can BREAK such news... especially if he has an expectation to the contrary... without "Irritating" him.

So the choices are INFORM and irritate or...
don't tell him and let him live in a fantasy word... in bliss.

I'd go with reality.

Are you a man? Then there is no possible way unless he is gay himself.

If you are a woman, and you want to tell a male-friend you like him, usually guys just say thanks for compliments and don't take it all that serious. Don't get all mushy and crap, just say, "hey, you really are a great guy!" or "You are the best non-gay guy-friend a girl could have!"

If you don't feel comfortable sharing your feelings with that person, its probably not time to share them yet. By letting him know, however, you are making him obligated to respond to your feelings, which he might not like. Don't just go right out with your feelings. Do suddle things, that hint at your feelings.

You just have to get your point across very clearly and bluntly. Men will take anything as a signal, so you have to be careful. You don't want to accidentally lead him on.

Ah, just tell him. But don't be surprise if he doesn't want to be just "friends" with you. By the way....your question is not worded well at all.
