No, but he/she did well.The average lifespan of a budgie is 8 to 10 years. It is not unusual for a budgie to live to 14 years of age and the occasional budgie makes it to 20+!

nope sorry i've known budgies that have lived till they're around 25,26 have heard of them reaching nearly 30

no we just had a 22 yr old one come in to (work) the vet clinic the other day but sounds like you took good care of it
