Maybe she's upset with you. Sometimes animals do that to get their masters' attention. Or maybe she has a bladder problem of some sort. You should take her to the vet. But remember: punishing her when you get home if she did it hours ago won't teach her anything--it'll only upset her.

Ok, something has changed. You say every night when you get home Spinner pee's. Is she peeing before you get home, or the second you walk in the door? Do you know for a fact that she is being let out during the day? These are legitimate questions. Or what you could do, as soon as you get home, let her out so there isn't an accident. Some dogs may pee when over-excited. The reason a dog get's this way is they are not getting enough exercise during the day. This is a way of them relieving some of the pent up energy they have. When you get home, take her for a 30 minute walk. She has to use up some of this energy, and this is the only way it's going to happen. This does not mean let her run around the back yard for 30 minutes. No this will not do anything for her energy. You have got to get out there and walk her. What was going on during the time before your neighbor started letting your dog out during the day? Were you not working at night? Were you home to take her out yourself during the day? Were you walking her during the day when you were home? Again, you have got to get her out there and let her walk.

she's unhappy with something you are doing. Is this a new job? Have your hours changed? Has a significant other moved in or out? Are you positive the neighbor is really letting her out? It's not the dog's fault. She's trying to communicate with you

She could be stressed, try to clean the spots where she pees with some kind of odor destroying agent. This will prevent her from smelling the pee and going again...its worth a shot

Anytime there is a change in a dog's behavior like this you need to take her to the vet. There could be a physical problem. Dogs do not have the ability to communicate to you. Please don't look for psychological reasons. Dogs don't react to situations they way humans do.

I would not let your neighbor let her out for a few days. Your neighbor may be doing something to her and she does not want to go back outside or near your neighbor. She is feeling tramatized and stressed out perhaps.

My housetrained dog was doing that too...only worse :)
Is she going close to the same spot each time? Cause sometimes they smell the previous mess and it makes them go again. Just try googling it....that's where my family got our tips!

It could be just the change in her routine that is stressing her. If it continues, you might want to take her to the vet to be sure it isn't something serious.

It could be stress or a bladder or kidney infections. Get her checked out by a vet to be sure.
