If a group of birds fly into the US, are they illegals and should we deport them?

You must be confused. A migration is a temporary movement of an indigenous species (that means they belong there) of an animal or bird. Illegal immigration is an illegal invasion of a sovereign nation by insurgents from other nations having no claim or right in the invaded country.

Hmm, the same could be asked for Salvadoran, Guatamalan or other birds that enter Mexico. Why does Mexico have such strict border enforcement in the Southern Border of Mexico, and so little enforcement, but rather encouragement to cross the Northern Border...
Birds can fly without borders...they are welcome in the U.S. And we will accept Immigrants as long as they go through the legal process. Perhaps, we should adopt the same immigration policy as our neighbor to the South...if we did...we would have the border closed tight very quickly.

Birds are citizens of the world and don't require anyone's permission to travel across borders. But they may start getting shot down at our borders if they have birdflu.

How the hell would you accomplish that? Put them in a plane and dump them to wherever you think they came from? How are you going to prevent that? Put giant netting around the US so they can't come back in?
