It's always okay to change your mind... just make sure that you have good reasons to do so. Why did you change your mind? If you can stand up, articulate your reasons and feel comfortable about your decision... then no problem.
If you are making a conscious decision to be angry with illegal aliens because of the unfair tax burden, the impact on health care, the skyrocketing crime rates, the changes in our education system... fine.
If you don't like illegals because you wish that you made more money and high taxes are simple way of stating that... then you're doing yourself and your cause (what ever it is) a disservice.

Surely, freedom to change your mind is one of the privileges you enjoy as an American citizen. But how do the immigrants affect your taxes? they have no entitlement to the benefits afforded to lawful citizens, and any benefits mistakenly awarded are reclaimed as soon as the mistake is discovered.
