I don't know what your situation is or where you live. Laws are different in every state. In California, anyone can have a warrant put out on them. It doesn't matter if you're guilty of that crime or not.
Well, the first thing you do is NOT go down to the police station to ask yourself. They will definitely arrest you on the spot, regardless of the crime.
Second thing, don't leave the house. Don't drive anywhere, because if the police happen to see your car or license plate, or if you are involved in a traffic infraction, you can be arrested.
Have a friend or parent go down to the police station in your area and find out if there is a warrant. This is public information, so the police will have to provide that.
If there is indeed a warrant, find out how much it is for. If it's for a miniscule amount, you can have a bond put up in your name to avoid being arrested. After that, follow the procedures according to the bondsmen.

Since even the doubt of whether or not you have a warrant causes worry and distress, I would call the police or sheriff department from a payphone. One less thing to have to stress about--Caller ID# from a home phone. Just a thought.

YOu need to contact your local sherrifs department. Someone there should be able to look you up using your social security number. In fact if you have anyone's SSI # you can pretty much get any information on them as far as arrests and warrant they may have pending.

Call your local Sheriff or Police Department. If they don't want you, then ask them to check the NCIC. (checks nation wide+) You must provide a legitimate birth date.
