Tell him you only date men who know how to make a memorable date happen. Challenge him to come up with something fun to do together this weekend. Tell him he is losing points if he can't free up time for this immediately.

Quite frankly, you probably shouldn't bother. A man knows what he wants and isn't afraid to tell you. A boy, does stupid **** like this that usually goes nowhere.

Wrong: Nice meeting you. We should get together sometime.

Right: I like you...ALOT. I rented this great movie that I haven't watched yet. Come over to my place and watch it with me. We can order chinese and get to know eachother better. You've just got to see the view from my patio at sunset.

Note what the second guy is doing. Right up front, he lets you know in no uncertain terms that he is interested in you romantically. He then leads you into the relationship but is tactful about it. He gives you a society approved excuse to come over to his place (the last thing on his mind is making you feel like a whore....he has a clue and uses tact and is very mindful of your reputation). He makes it plain that it is a no hassle, no pressure situation. But, he also makes it clear that the point is to become more intimate with you. This is a step toward becoming boyfriend/girlfriend, not friends. He may or may not be interested in sex with you at this time (depends on the vibe).

He respects himself enough to go after what he wants without apology. But he respects you enough not to be pushy.
