Then your pastor is feeding you propaganda. Many, if not most Liberals are Christians as well. Bush is not doing Christian things... lying to the media, covering things up, attacking countries... does that sound very Christian to you?
Liberals hate Bush because he's running your country into the ground, causing gas prices to go up, making the rest of the world not very happy with you, and basically destroying the foundations that your country was built upon. Land of the Free and home of the Brave doesn't apply all that much anymore.

To some extent you're correct. There are Christians, and then there are Christians. The Kennedys and the Kerry's claim to be Christian / Catholic, but Pope John Paul II gave serious consideration to excommunicating them from the Catholic Church because of their continued supporting of abortion. I think Pope John Paul II finally did give authority to deny them Holy Communion because of their pro-abortion position. So, there are Christians, and then there are Christians, and I can tell you that the Bush family is much more Christian than the Kennedys and Kerrys and Clintons. Read some family and political histories for the evidence. So, your preacher is right in that the degree to which the Bush's are Christian vs. the KKK families (Kennedys, Kerrys, Klintons) I mentioned above, are vastly different, and the anger and jealousy by the liberals is often exhibited by their ignorant harangues. Furthermore, the Bush's more complete and well-rounded education far surpasses the KKK families above, and so those families can't intelligently and maturely debate, so, they show anger out of their lack of qualifications. I hope this begins to answer your question. There's so many more ways to express and explain how your pastor was correct, and he hadn't even begun to tell the whole story. Please tell your pastor I said hi. He's a man worth knowing. God Bless you.

First, your church has no right to call liberals anything, liberalism is a political ideology and is not religious at all. Conservatism is religious, and should be monitored and sanctioned. Secondly, we do not hate Bush because he is Christian, I could care less. I dont like Bush because he is a moron, he cant speak correctly and is screwing this country over.

What? Has political events now replace into religions? is this the only way you may tell a Christian from a non is their Political determination? sounds want to me your pastor is coaching only that... everyone who's a Liberal should not be a Christian. humorous element is, in Jesus' time, Jesus could have been the Liberal. He placed down the Conservative Pharisees who observed the regulation to the letter and Liberated his human beings from their oppression. So i assume Jesus shouldn't have sturdy Christian Morals.

Pastors should keep to theology and out of politics. I don't hate Mr. Bush but I do not agree with most of his political policies either. No I'm not a liberal or a republican - I'm an Independent.

Oh please! I do not hate Bush, I just think he has not been a good President and has made very bad choices for us and the rest of the world. Nothing to do with his personal belief. His religion is his choice has nothing to do with politics and us as Americans. Your pastor is wrong. Also does your pastor think that all liberals are non-Christians. What image does he have of a liberal?

Every "liberal" I know is christian.
I have somewhat conservative political views and I think Bush is one of the most evil men who ever walked the planet. I don't think he is politically conservative in any way, shape or form. He is a liar and an impostor. He is a traitor and back-stabber. There is NO truth in him. His claim of christianity is false and grotesque. Nearly everything that has come out of his mouth in 6 years has been lies.
If you believe liberals don't have any better reason to hate our president than the fact that he claims to be christian, you are in a fantasy world. Your preacher should be ashamed to present that kind of untruth from the pulpit. Preachers should stick to the ministry of Christ and leave politics alone. What ever they want to believe about the president is fine, but using God and the pulpit to convince their followers of lies is blasphemous.

No, liberals hate Bush because he is a moron. This is not about religion, this is about Bush sending men into a foreign country that these troops do not belong in to begin with. I agree that we needed to go to Afganistan to get the Taliban, but we did not have to go to Iraq, that was uncalled for. Iraq did not bomb us, the Taliban did and the Taliban was in Afganistan not Iraq.
