im only a high school sophmore now though i have decided to go to school and become a doctor. i just want any advice and experience people have had (especially doctors) on the infamous long rode to becoming a MD. Anything from good schools to the goods and bads of the hospital would be excellent!

I recommend keeping up your grades so you get into a good college. Then you will want to take pre-med courses, but also others so you can show medical schools that you're well rounded. You may want to do some related volunteer work to show that you are really dedicated to the field. Once you're in college, you will have the opportunity to contact alums from your school and you can look for ones who became doctors and get more specific information from them.
