i was agnostic and a "scientist".... don't know if that's really a "religion," but i wouldn't believe anything was true unless it could be proved scientifically. but the more i read about big bang theory, evolution, the number phi, etc, the more i became convinced that only a creator's hand could have accomplished it. so i started to believe in God, but not necessarily Christ. i looked into a lot of different religions then, and finally chose Christianity because of the huge amount of historical evidence to support it.... read The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel for some examples.
the best part was when i started to see evidence of Christ's work in my own life.... the proof of my personal experience is stronger to me than all the science and history in the world.... Jesus is Lord!

I was a Pagan. I practiced more towards my Native American Cultural beliefs, at the time, I felt at peace and like everything connected. I felt as if I was where I was supposed to be. I had been to elders, healers, native psychics, spirit guide people that help you when your spirit is lost, pow wows, full moon ceremonies, drumming ceremonies and many more gatherings. I worshiped the Great Creator and Mother earth with tobacco ties and with incense prayers.

I can honestly say that they joy I received years ago can not compare to the joy Jesus Christ has given me. Jesus Christ has given me such an amazing peace in my heart that is beyond description in words. I no longer worship the moon and the sun, but the wonderful God, the Creator who made it all!

the concepts that exist for any newborn becoming up in a non secular custom is to undertake the ideals of that custom or face severe abuse. that's no longer a call as we frequently think of of judgements, till one thinks that to stay or die is a call a newborn could make. All religions save a newborn unaware of alternative religions or demonize different religions. it is without exception and speaks poorly of the religion itself, no longer purely the prepare. If the religions have been to be seen harmless then there could be exhibit instructions to disclose the newborn to an impartial coaching in all religions. yet all religions are below waiting to degree as much as what we could desire to evaluate extra beneficial standards. With super sadness, all religions do little extra beneficial than mirror the backside user-friendly denominator of ideals, and that denominator is the self perpetuating acts of outrage and isolation.

i didnt have a religion, but i was searching for the answer to explain my existance and purpose. i studied 'ologies, dream books, tarot cards, candles... you name it, i looked into it. nothing could fill the emptiness that i felt inside.

one day, i accepted Jesus as my Savior. i didnt feel like anything changed. i still lived like i used to, but i didnt feel empty or lonely anymore. still, something was missing.

then i accepted Jesus as my Lord. my life has changed so much! its certainly not easy, but it is very fullfilling and rewarding (now and later).

praise God!

I was a moneyist. I worshipped, served and sought after money.
I thank God every day for forgiving me for that, and for saving me from it. Talk about a false idol!!!
