Hi im 14 and I have a thigh problem too. My mom tells me its just muscle but I can tell it's just her trying to comfort me. We have an elliptical machine at home and i have been using that for the past week and i have already seen results. I have lost 3 pounds and it really focuses on my thighs. A really big thing now is pilates. If you do pilates it builds lean muscle as well as getting rid of some unwanted fat. I run track and stuff but my thighs r still big. I would really try to figure out a way to use an elliptical machine. They have them at most gyms. I hope this helps a little =)(

Being only 13yrs of age makes a BIG difference in ur growth spurts hun. Eat healthy if u dont do so already and try taking up sum Yoga. It stretches and tones ur leg mucles. And by the sounds of u thats wat ur wanting to do. Again though keep in mind that you are ONLY 13yrs of age. Very young still, your probably going through puberty also so you do have alot of changes going about u.
Now you can never be too young or old for excersise though so I do encourage u to excersise, try both yoga and cardio. Just dont over do yourself. Start off light and gradually build urself up. Dont start high, u cant start high then work down. Its starting low, then gradually working up. Good luck hun and keep healthy

Some people are just born this way, some skinny thighs, some fat. Your quite young so they may get thinner as you get older as this may just be puppy fat. Try exercise. You may not like your thighs but i bet someone will probably want your thinghs, eg: I hate my legs but my friends always says how much she wished she had them ;-)

do some exercise....cycle or swim, stretch your legs and walkalot if you can. Usea moisturiser a\nd skin toner on your thighs it will firm your skin and help you. Drink water, it helps the skin too. or go to a doctor you may be retaining fluids which is why they are big. Good Luck!

Hi , believe me they are not as bad as you think, i hate my thighs as when i put on weight it goes straight to them but its just me thats doesnt like them no one else really notices. But if you want to make them appear thinner just gentle thigh excercise works wonders, you canby books that show you all the excercises to do, do a few everynight, you will see the difference very quickly.

hiya, you know that expression -we are our own worse critic well it is so true - i'm sure its not as bad as you think but saying that i understand how you are feeling -all you need to do is exercise..swimming is an excellent way to build muscle tone - if you don't like swimming get an exercise dvd or go to a keep fit club with a friend..

Hey If you are really paranoid go to your Doctor and ask them to be as blunt as possible. Do as much exercise as poss.

Its just puppy fat!!! you will lose it as you grow.eat healthy fruit and veg,fish and chicken.
