Very good points. Perhaps it should be taken into consideration by parents more than the children. Often the child is not given any alternatives. If one is born into a Jewish, Muslim or Christian household one is raised in that particular religion. Often church elders plead the case that a child's soul is in danger and must be protected by the religion's cloak and from that point on the child is only taught the one faith. If the child does not question it's elders, soon they will be indoctrinated into a religion with little or no knowledge of other faiths.

Many wars have been faught in protecting "the religion" be it Islam, Christanity etc.....
My view is that there is a religion out there for everyone. As long as you believe it, it is the right religion for you.
No one will ever know (while they are alive) that their religion was the one and everyone else was wrong but on the same hand does it matter?
Personally I am a Christian but I do not expect everyone to be Christian. Although I know for me that this is the only religion, a person with a belief in Islam is thinking exactly the same thing about their religion.
No matter what religion you choose the basics hold true.
All religions (the ones I have read about al teast) all have a common theme of love and understanding.
Religion has a lot to answer for. People created religions, not God or Mohamad etc.....
Lets get back to basics and learn to get on no matter what each of us believe.
Which Religion? The one that is right for you!!!

Religion is a man made quest on a search for a deity. Man looking for God if you will.
What God? Whose God? Truly these are the questions that man seeks.
The world provides us many avenues to seek the god of our choice. Which road is correct? Which is true?
Truth is a concept that most of us desire but abhor when faced with if it conflicts with our desired reality. After all, 2+2 is always 4. Never 4.0002103.
Taking the stance that there can only be one truth is quite an exclusive branch to hang one's destiny on. Many faiths say find your own way and to explore it as well as others. Some say they are the right way and other faiths have noble teachings, but are not exactly the right path.
There is one faith that claims to be exclusive. One that shuns any road to God but One. This faith has been ridiculed for almost two thousand years.
Look at all faiths I say. Seek God and you will find Him.
That is a guarantee. (not from me)

Most kids are not allowed by their parents to learn about other religions. By the time they are adults, they are brainwashed.
The world would be a better place if all kids were required to take a non-sectarian Intro to Religion class in high school, where the core principles of all the various world religions would at least be briefly discussed.

what's sad is most people don't care enough to do what you're doing and just do what's been done for years in their families... It's a hard journey but I wish you all the luck.!
