I was away travelling around europe, my now ex had my best friend stay over after he lost a family member, when i was back they told me about it and i wasnt suspicious at all, a year later she had moved down south to uni, i was away again, we had already split up but when i got back my mate told me he went down to visit her just as friends...but i cant help but wonder if they were cheatin on me, even though he did tell me, there is no other way of finding out if they were together other times?? Am i paranoid?

I think they may have cheated on u sweetie,
and the one way u can find out is to ask them both whats going on, I mean I know they could be friends but thats how things start off at first.
Ur not paranoid your right and u need to confront it
Let me ask u this about your friend is it likely ur he will do this to u

I would say, that is very suspicious behavior! Go with what your heart is saying. If you have a strong gut feeling, than it usually means you are right.
Another way to tell if someone is lying... They don't like to look you in the eyes when answering the question. Although ask a question, and watch whether they look to the right or left when speaking. If they look to the right, it's a sign of lying. Good luck.

I guess that was the only way they could cheat on you without you knowing, telling you. If its getting too much i think there's no reason why you shouldnt be suspicious.

i think there are different types of cheating, they may not have physically cheated but maybe emotionally cheated by forming feelings and a closeness which is inappropriate when you are in a relationship, especially with a mans best mate.

there are different forms of cheating, if not physically then perhaps emotionally. or maybe they've just become close friends after that. even then you shouldn't be worrying about it since you said you split up, if i'm not mistaken.

she's your ex. just let it go. there is no point in troubling and stressing over things in the past. whether they did or didn't doesn't matter now. move on.
