he doesn't send people to Hell, if gives you the choice to make decisions that can ultimately send yourself there.

Prior to the introduction of Christianity, the hell as a place of eternal punishment wasn't in Jewish thought (in fact the Old Testament refers to the valley outside Jerusalem where trash was burned). But Christians needed hell fire and brimstone to fuel retribution for the "wicked".
Although many Christians have questioned a merciful God that enforces eternal punishment for minor offeses

People have to pay for the good or bad deeds that they do. And heaven and hell is here on earth. You have to pay here for what you do. And if there is a hell it is man made, cos if no one feared God this earth would become a living hell. So it is not God who gives a person eternal hell it's a persons own doing. God created man in His own image but man got soo tempted by meterial things that he forgot God and followed his own temptation and forgot about God.

he didnt - there is no hell - and you are an idiot to believe for a second that there might be
hell was something worked up by the churches to awe people into blind obedience to them - to give them absolute power and money [and corruption] - ie, it was a hateful act on the part of the churches - and it worked - a fool and common sense are soon parted
read 'a portrait of the artist as a young man' esp the middle chapter, the third, hell chapter
fear and love are opposites - 'love casts out fear' - who deliberately makes you afraid is the opposite of loving - anti-christ
remember, jesus built his church on the very rocky foundation of peter, who betrayed him three times before breakfast -
by this, i think jesus was telling people: hey, look, the church is going to be in the hands of very fallible people, okay? look how totally wrong the religious leaders were in my [jesus's] time - it aint gunna be different after im gone - so take care, huh? use your common sense - take the good and leave the bad - hey, I'M not infallible, right? - ['why do you say i am good, only god is good' - but if god is good and god makes everything, then everything is good - genesis: god saw that everything he had made was good - but everything isnt good, so god isnt good - isaiah 45,7: 'i create good and i create evil' - romans 11.32: god delivers everyone to error - god does the making of people error-full - so jesus was apparently in error in saying god was good] look what an *ss i made of myself over those moneylenders, that was totally immature behaviour, dont you think? - and look how i was p*ssing myself about going on the cross - if id been fully realised, i would have been above fear of pain, like st lawrence on the grill' ['you can turn me over now, im cooked on that side']
and most christians will get hot and angry at what i write, although it makes sense, and they will maybe act to suppress me, like they try to suppress anything they dont like - they are not civilised enough to grasp the concept of free speech - that we come closest to truth by hearing all opinions - the church calls opinion heresy [the word heresy means opinion] - the church demands you leave your opinions behind when you join the church - but your opinions are the real you - so the church is demanding mental suicide - ie, the church has destroyed common sense - just the fear of the church getting angry and murderous has shut people up, stopped even their free thoughts in their heads - the churches are state terrorists, orwellian big brother
and people cant pursue happiness without using common sense all the time, so the church has caused the atrophy of the pursuit of happiness and the pursuit of virtues [excellences of character] which are absolutely essential for happiness
justice is absolutely essential for happiness and we have pay from $1 to $1 billion a fortnight - bill gates US$18 billion in 1998, per capita income bangladesh $100 a year - and nobody even notices or thinks, maybe this is making us unhappy somehow - that is how much the church has destroyed the pursuit of happiness, which is everyone's everything, which is happiness and love
pursue your happiness with everything you have got! - continually ask: is this good for me? am i somehow hurting myself? then life is exciting, challenging, alive, meaningful, very very good and full of love - even though you will have accidents and mistakes - youll be so buzzed all youll want to do is get up from bed and have another go

It depends whether you believe the old testament (in which God is angry and ready to send everyone to damnation) or the new testament (in which god is forgiving).
The fact that there are two completely different and contradictory versions of God within the same religious framework probably tells you all you need to know about 'religion'. Ie it's inconsistent and people interpret it however they like, making it pretty much worthless!

God does not send anyone to hell. Hell was made for the devil and his demons if man goes there it is by his own choice and he will have to trample on the Blood of Jesus. He will have to go around the Cross, because between man and hell is the Cross of Calvery with the Saviour pleading, "Come To Me"

Isaiah 64:6 For all of us have become like one who is unclean,
And all our righteous deeds are like a filthy garment;
And all of us wither like a leaf,
And our iniquities, like the wind, take us away.
John 3:16 says: For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God to send His Son to earth, to have him beaten and bruised, nailed to a wooden cross, and have him suffer and die so that even though the most our greatest efforts can appear as is filthy rags, we might be saved. So that we may live an eternity of joy in heaven. That IS love. You my friend, need Jesus. Please give Jesus a try, I know you wont regret it.

The answer is simple. If you obey God and follow His commandments, He will grant you Paradise. If you disobey and commit sins He will punish you in Hellfire. God do care and love His people but it is the Sinners who choose the path to Hell. Please visit ex Rev Estes at www.islamalways.com

HE doesn't send them to a fiery hell to be tortured. In the end, GOD will mercifully burn up the wicked, because they chose not to be with GOD.
Much more to be said about this topic. Lots of Bible text.

He's giving each of us a chance....he wants us to make the choice......He could have just made us all love Him, but He gave us free will instead.....if we choose wrong, then we are punished. God is the ultimate and perfect parent.....parents love their children....yet they still punish them.

Exactly, which is why it doesn't exist. Not as a physical place to which we're condemned. But as a state of mind as a result of our beliefs. God is pure unconditional love and does not judge or condemn. Humans do that.
