I have 2 Rotties and a Mastiff I've given Benadryl to, just one capsule each. You know your dog best, if you feel comfortable giving her one, go for it and just keep an eye on her. I wouldn't give more than one a day. Otherwise, check with your vet.

Should be...I have 100 pound weimarainer and she gets allergies and the vet prescribed regular old Benadryl for her. Double check with you vet though for dosage.

Yulp, it's quite common to give dogs benadryl. check for the weight scale and it will cause your pet to become sleepy so try the lowest does you can.

YES! I actually just gave my cocker spaniel some-children's chewable. The pink fast melt ones are more tasty, the purple tablets are REALLY gross. I have had this ok'd by his vet.
