there's this guy at work that i really like, but he's been experiencing a lot of difficulties in his life right now. then last week, my girl bestfriend was talking with him and he told my friend that besides all his problems... he needs to get over a girl... and for the past months he has been flirting with me all along.... now im confused.... so is it possible that while he was flirting with me he has feelings for another girl? or would that girl that he need to get over with could possibly be me??? i don't know it's just an intuition... but he never really told me straight that he likes me just through flirty actions....what do you guys think?

best way to get over some one is to see someone else

Why would he need to get over you? I think it's pretty likely that he was with someone else and flirting with you, maybe because he knew he was going to be looking for someone to help him "get over" the girl, and that someone could be you.
I'd stay far, far away from this guy. At best, he's a guy who will flirt with other girls while he has a g/f. And worse, he's probably a very manipulative liar.

There is no way to know the answers to your questions. Well, at least I cannot tell you who the girl that he needs to get over is. It may be you or it may be another lady. Anyway, why worry? It is better to stay away of a possible relationship with somebody that has such a complicated life.

Yes, he could flirt with you while having all the other issues...he's a guy, after all. But no, unless you've hooked up or dated, you're not the one he has to get over.

i think he was flirting with you because he was trying to forget about another girl. don't take it in a bad way, he might still like you, it's just there was just a lot on his mind and flirting with you kept him distracted. if he hurt you, he definetly didn't mean it.

Or maybe you could end up being his rebound girl.
