What do you do when a guy tells you you are pretty? or when he says he loves you?
I never know if the guy really means it or what to do and I always feel so stupid cause It looks like I don't respond until I panic and kiss him to avoid conversation

i know exactly what you mean....i feel the same way. if you're not sure if he means it, just down play and say, 'well, everyone has soft skin' or 'everyone kisses well' and smile. but if he appears sincere, the best thing to do is to thank him for his complement...try getting beyond the shy factor if you are. it's hard for me to take complements so i downplay anyway, but then it's like you're shooting down their complement.

Break that panicing habit quick! If he tells you that you're pretty, simply say "Thank you". It is probably a genuine compliment and take it for what it is. To the statement "I love you." You really need to consider the past actions of the person that statement is coming from. If you have been going out with him around 6 months or more, you can respond by expressing your true feelings about him, only after having some clarification of what he means by "love". That word is thrown around too loosely to conclude that you should deeply love that person or respond to them with a physical response. "I love you" has become a common line, in that respect. I know someone who has responded "so then, what will you do with this love you have for me?" If he means it, he will talk more about his angle. If not, he will state exactly what he intended to say in the first place.

The last thing that I would do is kiss him, yeah it avoids conversation, but you give him the wrong impression when you kiss him you make him think that you like him. All you can really do is tell him thank you, if you think he is cute then compliment him back. If not don't do it out of nice ness again this will give him the wrong impression.

If you're unsure if the guy's a player and usually says this kind of stuff to get into women's pants, just be polite and say Thank you. Don't show him you're ready to give into him and melt because of his lame line. Put him to the test and try to get a real conversation going, about something that interests you, depending if the response he gives you, you'll see if he's full of sh*@ or actually interested in you.

Okay that is crazy, why would you kiss them to avoid conversation. Say thank you and move on! If it is someone that you find interesting then talk to them. You're going to get a maniac one of these days. Or you are going to turn off the man of your dreams if you keep throwing yourself at them.

best thing to do on the i love you partn but the kiss for a guy that said you were oretty is a little much just a simple thank you and a smile will do
