Some might say earning a living and being on their own, others being with an older woman. A few might even thing being a man means supporting a family.. but still men can be irresponsible and quite not ready for commitment. So what makes a man these days?

A man stands up and accepts his responsibilities. He provides for his family (if he has a family), and should be strong but caring at the same time.
I've always respected my father. He worked so hard to give us everything we needed and/or wanted. I love ya dad!

I think that what makes a guy a man is him admitting that he is wrong, willing to except the way something is or goes without him throwing a fit, acting his age and not his shoe size, saying that he loves you infront of family and friends, and taking responsibility for what he has done. If he does all of these things in my eyes he is considered a man.

Blowing off a few rounds from his sex pistol in the face of some deserving young lady is a start but besides that I agree with the one about accepting responsiblity for oneself and your actions.

Being mature, knowing what he wants and working hard to get it, being a father to his children and taking responsibility. Being respectful to others even if they have different opinions/beliefs than his.

A man does what he needs to do to keep up with his responsibility.A man should keep his word .Every guy makes mistakes but a responsible man will admit it and try to do better.
