A man stands up and accepts his responsibilities. He provides for his family (if he has a family), and should be strong but caring at the same time.
I've always respected my father. He worked so hard to give us everything we needed and/or wanted. I love ya dad!

I think that what makes a guy a man is him admitting that he is wrong, willing to except the way something is or goes without him throwing a fit, acting his age and not his shoe size, saying that he loves you infront of family and friends, and taking responsibility for what he has done. If he does all of these things in my eyes he is considered a man.

A man is responsible for himself. He doesn't make excuses for his actions, he doesn't whine about his problems. He can be w/ or w/o a woman

Balance, I think.
I think a man is made when he learns how to balance things well in his own life...relationships, family, money, etc.
