okay me again, the definition of prayer is communication with God. so if you opt to tell him to go to hell then that would be prayer. most people see only the side of prayer that is respectful and on your knees in church kind of praying. don't misinderstand i think that's an edgie thing to say to God, however the Old Testament is full of scripture where God's people questioned His actions or nonresponse, those communications were prayer just the same as the ones that glorified Him and worshipped Him or petitioned Him for help. any communication with god is prayer, whether it is reverent or not. so take caution. It's like bad mouthing your boss only because you think he's not there.

Did i answer your question??

Prayer is communicating with God. If you tell God to go to hell, he will tell you that He loves you. However, since hell is actually the only place that exists where God's love is absent, He cannot go there. So, to answer your question.....I suppose you could loosely define your suggestion as prayer; however, it will be answered with a no response (and an outpouring of His love, whether you want to acknowledge it or not.)

look into it and see what others say about prayer. the Catholic church defines prayer as
"Prayer is the raising of one's mind and heart to God or the requesting of good things from God."2 But when we pray, do we speak from the height of our pride and will, or "out of the depths" of a humble and contrite heart?3 He who humbles himself will be exalted;4 humility is the foundation of prayer, Only when we humbly acknowledge that "we do not know how to pray as we ought,"5 are we ready to receive freely the gift of prayer. "Man is a beggar before God."

that is the best possible answer I can give you, even though I know this is a sarcastic question. But, hey, don't make Jack Bauer look bad. If you're gonna use his name as a user name, then you had better make people like you! :) I'm a 24 fan too.

Many people have the misconception that prayer should be a formal talk to God and Jesus. No this is not so. Prayer can be short and sweet and to the point or it can be long and drawn out. God knows that man kind has many frustrations on him or her and He knows what we go thru in our daily lives. He also knows that even Christians get peeved by certain things and loose their temper at God. God allows us to express our feelings freely to Him. I wouldn't be surprised if more Christians would admit that they've told God off too in this manner. But once we cooled down, it is always best to talk to God again and to apologize to Him for what we said.

Yes that is a prayer. God has big shoulders and can take the criticism. Many people in history have been angry with God. Saul/Paul as an example. Some go back to God after whatever troubled them passes.....

There's no hell, no divinely answered prayers and no judgmental deity. There is free will and the self-imposed consequences of free will, which some refer to as karma. I know there is an intelligent source which can be called 'God', but you're as much a part of that energy as I am, and whether you adore it or profane it doesn't matter in the least. It's how you treat other people and yourself that matters.

I f one defines prayer as just that...comunicating with God, thn your answer would be yes, but I personally define prayer as talking with God on a personal and loving level...so, therefore that would merely be damning God in my opinion....but you asked for an answer, so there you go. Run with it.

If you are actually telling God to go to hell, then yes, it's a prayer. Anytime you talk to Him, it's a prayer. Of course, if you told Him that, He might be sending you to hell.

No. Communication with God is actually allowing ourselves to see as God sees and then to repent and confess, and follow as God would have us go. Now, you may freely choose to tell God such vulgarity if you want; but he is God and be prepared for the discipline he will dish out to you for being disrespectful of who he is.

Interesting question. In order to pray, you have to be a true Christian. It satrengthens your relasionship with God. I'm not sure how to answer your question, but I hope that this helps.
