I enjoy learning about different cultures, I love the Japanese culture. The Thai and Philippine cultures are another 2 that I really like, I not only try to learn about them, but I can cook some of their foods, now that being said I am totally and completely against ILLEGAL aliens receiving amnesty. I am all for
SECURE & DEPORT. That doesn't make me racist or hateful or ignorant for that matter. And the enviornment I grew up in was not racist or prejudice, but I was taught about law abiding.

I was raised to have pride in myself, my ethnicity, and my race- I chose on my own to believe in the differences of people. (I don't hate others- I just believe in racial and gender differences. Yes, I do look for exceptions, though.) I also chose to disagree with race mixing- for statistical reasons and because I've seen mulattos being beaten by the people darker then them.
Also, it was through seeing other cultures that I decided to see things this way. Racism means you have an unjustified prejudice of another race, while prejudice is the act of prejudging- something of which I can't be guilty. I go to a school with a lot of non-Whites, have a lot of statistical evidence, etc. People label others as "racist" if they don't believe in what the media, government, and general public wants them to believe- and that's horribly sad. We are turning into a nation that does what is popular: We have forgotten that what is right is not always popular, what is popular is not always right.....

I agree that you should learn about and respect other cutures. On the other hand, you should not be a doormat to other cultures. You should stand up and defend your culture; if you are an American, then be proud to be one.
Having pride in your country and wanting to defend it does not make you racist. I like the Japanese culture and have studied about it, but I have not forgotten that I am an American; and that is who my loyalty is to.
As far as peace goes, it is impossible to have peace. There will always be some people who want money, power, or just conflict.

My father was a missionary-we met many people. But there is also a rule about manners.
If you are the guest
Try to get along
Learn the peoples language as fast as you can
Respect their government
Respect their laws
Be polite to their country
Make your own bed and keep your room clean
Don't touch other people stuff
Treat THEIR land well
Don't gripe about the people
Leave when you are asked or when you see you are a burden to the host
Don't be a burden
Do your share and more
Don't complain
Respect their LAWS
I could go on- the fact is I don't think race is the issue here-Laws are.

I was raised in California and fled the crime, gangs, and culture of Latinos in Santa Maria CA. Now it's happening here in Arkansas...no more running, I'm digging in! I hate Latino culture because I've seen it for what it is as a whole! True American Latinos are pretty cool people for the most part, but only when they leave Mexico in Mexico!

OK, so your a globalist.
There will never be a one world goverment because people want to govern themselves and their culture as you put it.
How do you propose to make 3.5 billion chinese an asians part of your one world globalist ideals and convince them to give up their soveriegnty?
No wonder China is building it's weapons and military.
Now, when you say superior are you talking about La Raza -the master race? I remember what happened the last time there was a master race - and even us white people put our lives on the line to stop it. What makes you think we won't again?

I was taught that Anglo Saxon Americans were Superior. Boy am I glad I didn't agree. I'd be as narrow minded as some on here and would not know the friendship of the people I have now,Or the compassion I have for others.

NO, I was not taught to love other cultures, I was taught to respect other cultures in there place, that is, where they are at. People have a perfict right to live how ever thay want to in there home countries (key words 'home countries'). I have all the respect in the world for other cultures, "in there place" !! Not in mine !! I want MY culture in MY PLACE. And if you don't want to be part of my culture, go the hel* back to YOUR culture if you like it so much better than MINE .

I grew up knowing about hate and intolerance based on your heritage. I was taught you are no better than anyone else, respect those who respect you. Race hating is stupid, and you often loose a debate because of it. Now just come to America legally and you won't have to stoop to the level of saying law abiding Americans are racist. It doesn't win your debating issue.
