they could have been sick or its possible the parents rejected them, my diamond doves rejected one of there babies and when I put it back in the nest they killed her =( if they're alive u should hand raise them, in not then you might want to get an incubate and care for some of the eggs of your birds next clutch

Don't be sad... It's quite common for a couple not to make it. Becuase the batch seems to be a fairly large one, the nuitreints inside of the mother may have been limited and not sufficient enough to feed all of the young. In the end two of the smaller ones died... Either that or when they were born the mother sensed something wrong with them and smashed them it happens evey day in the animal kindom and will never cease to. I'm sorry about your loss... But look on the bright side; You sound like there are three healthy parakeets left. Congrats and take good care of them. If the mother has a history of aggresion you may want to remove the babies from her reach and raise them by hand.

the 2 baby parekeets probably died becuz usually parekeets dont have 5 they have one or two and sometimes they dont have at all since they dont they arent adapted to it and they die becuz the parents dont take well care especially if itz the smallest itz like war the birds that get the food first will survive the rest wont. but if the two baby birds are alive take them out and go to the pet shop to buy tis type of food for them, itz like a powder u mix it with water. like if u have ever bought a baby parrot i have so i have experience. but make sure if they live when there big enough to be on there own and eat by them selves put the both of them in a seperate cage if u dont the parents and other 3 birds will kill the both of them. ok?

it is common for an entire clutch not to survive. Some eggs never hatch, others hatch and the babies die. There is usually a "runt" in every clutch, sometimes they survive and sometimes they don't. Sounds like you had 2 "runts" in your clutch and you will probably not really know why they died. Hopefully the other babies are healthy and will do fine. Good luck.

First you may desire to make a incubatorr, you should use a pair of 5gal fish tank wrap a heating pad in a dish rag placed it below the exterior of the tank, placed down white paper, then get yet another towel and canopy all of it yet a small slit. Now get chicken foremula it is a powder(i used particularly chicken) blend it try it such as you may a touch one bottle comparable temp, now you may desire to have a syrenge thats the place the drug shop is provided in. success to you. I'm sorry to say but they probably were squished. It is the survival of the fittest. And if they were the runts that is probably why they died. I don't think you will have any more die though. And yes this is normal. I'm sorry for your lose.

they may have been sqaused if the nest is small. That is a pretty large batch. Are the parents gonna raise them or are you? It is a big job. Sometimes captive bred keets don't tend to young properly. Especially if they were hand raised.

does it have a nest. Do not touch it..I remember birds do have a sense of territory. You are not supposed to touch what belongs to them
