whats wrong with being a racist if you're not a hater?

If youre proud to be a color or race I guess youre glad youre not another. hhhhhmmmmmmmmmm

is there an unwritten law that states you can't seperate the two? I seperate them everyday.

if u hurt others because of their race that is a form of hate. It is fine to b proud of your race and to love your race it is not o. k. to treat others wrong, hurt others because of it and just b happy you are who you are and not look down on everyone else because each race has its ups and downs it good and bad in it that has nothing to do with race that has more to do with individual choices. i am sometimes embarresed by what people of my race do but i have to relize its not race its individuals.

Being proud of your race has nothing to do with being a racist. Yes, I'm proud of being white, but it's not becausee I dislike or think I'm better then other races. I'm proud becaus it's my heritage.
You need to check out what the word raciest means in the dictionary, because you obviously don't have clue. Racist is when you hate another race, and I don't have any hate towards someone just because they aren't white. I'm no better then anyone else because of my skin color.

Your question makes some logic: if blacks and other human skin color races can be proud of their color, why then are whites who do the same tagged as racists???

There ARE whites proud of being so that ARE NOT skinheads or KKK members; however such prideful people ARE narrow-mindedly associated with such known hate groups.

It's a glaring social double standard when blacks are allowed their pride days and public expressions......and yes: blacks TOO have their own hate groups. And these groups are very much alive and well in America to this day, too.

I am a racist,& I only "hate" the fool who cut me off in traffic on the way home today. but I am almost over that, give me a week or two and I will be good as new, unless I see that jerk again,,,,,,, lol!

imho, being a racist automatically makes you a hater. if you feel you are superior than someone else, then most likely you feel that they deserve less than yourself...less respect, etc.

it's fine to be proud of who you are as long as you are not hurting anyone else.

You are not racist unless you think your race is superior to all the others. When you are proud to be of one race and not the other, that's not racism. However, if you use that to discriminate, then that is racism.

Because by your posts you are both I've yet to see one person post about being proud of their white American heritage with out being hateful to another nationality. I am white but because of those abusive posts and the way I've seen people act in real life I'm neither proud to be American or white if I'm judged by others behavior and I am.
