An Australian Shiraz would go quite nicely with that. Or if you cook your brisket on the spicy side, a good red Zinfandel. When the wine hits the spices in your mouth then you get these little explosions of flavor going on all over your mouth.

There are some funny answers here, but if you want a serious answer then I'd suggest a crisp clean chardonnay from Australia. One with a reasonable price is Yellow Tail. Another great idea would be the chardonnay Hamilton Russell, which is an Irish family that makes wines in South Africa. Of couse you could always have Irish Mead. Bon appetit!

Red wine always goes best with beef. Some people prefer a sweeter wine and for that you should get a nice rose...some like a dry wine and for that I'd say a cabernet sauvignon would really hit the spot.

A favorite red wine is always good with red meat. Merlot is a good choice.

Wine with corned beef? Instead, try IRISH WHISKEY, of course!

any good cab would do. i personally like ravenswood.
however, being that i am irish, and corned beef is my absolute favorite meal, i would find it difficult to not enjoy a GUINNESS with it. :)

I'd say pinot grigio, especially if it's as hot out where you are as where I am. I think chardonnay has a little too much flavor to it.
