If the skin (anywhere on your body) is broken then there is a chance of infection from exogenous sources (outside sources). Pathogens that you are more likely to come in contact with while your injury is being healed will likely come from the bathtub (not necessarily the shower), your underwear (always wear clean underwear), and your hands (you know what I mean).
Of course, if you have sex until the burn is healed your chances for contracting an STD (sexually transmitted disease) goes up dramatically.
So, until your injury heals, treat the area with Neosporin and abstain from both intercourse and masturbation. If you notice a swelling around the injured area or heat radiating from it (or if it simply becomes painful), seek medical attention immediately.

You must have interesting ways of masturbating.
Also, you just shouldn't be having sex with any open sores or scabs on your piece, not cool, think about being the other person.... actually I would hope the individual you plan on doing this with, would notice your oozing wound.

Yes.If your partner is infected your chances of infection is greatly increased.Under normal conditions any STD is very contagious.With a broken skin the surety is increased many times.I`ve had rug burn on my knees and feet as well as my back,but damned if I can see how you got it on your penis.

No more than you could catch with out it but if raw a bleeding more quickly to catch certain blood transferable type diseases.
