A meat tenderizer or baking soda paste, antihistamine, or an anti-itch cream. If you're allergic to them then seek medical attention.

1. Remove the sting by pressing on both sides of the stinging with spoons or something.
2. Put ammonia or a special antihistamine ointment (Fenistil) on
3. Make sure there is no allergy, that can cause general swelling and death. If any weird symptoms occur, go to the hospital ASAP. Have an antihistamine pill as a precaution also.

If you have access to an onion, it is one of natures most potent anti histamines. Just rub it on the sting.. counteracts the sting. This procedure actually saved the life of a patron of a 7/11... he had many stings at the same time and would have gone into anaphylactic shock without that immediate intervention.

The Meat tenderizer and the antihistamine are the best remedies. There is one specific meat tenderizer you must use, though: Adolf's Meat tenderizer - it contains an enzyme called papain which breaks down the toxin inject by the bee. Mix a little into water and apply liberally. Take an oral antihistamine, apply a topical one if you want and the discomfort should subside. If you have any problems breathing or break out into a rash - call 911 for help immediately.

Good luck,

Dana

First and foremost don't touch it. The venom spreads the more you handle the sting and the more it spreads the worse it will get. Don't touch it. If the stinger is still there do remove it though.

Simply add a few drops of ammonia every now and then to take the sting away.

This is really gross but trust me it works better than anything else. Take the tobacco out of a cigarette chew it up, it has to be chewed, then spit it onto the bee sting.

If you can see the stinger remove it. If not then use a cortisone based product. Go to the nearest pharmacy and by a over the counter cream for insect stings.

Meat tenderizer works the best for removing the sting. You can also take Benadryl for the swelling.

Crush up some baby aspirin in water and rub it on the sting. Watch for any abnormal swelling. If you notice more than localized swelling, report it to your doctor immediately.
