Some of them do and some dont! I have been to a few doctors who have a whole line of patients in line and they spend only 5 minutes with each one and it costs $200 for that 5 minutes! Now I have a small town country doctor who takes the time to answer all my silly questions and listen to me! His charges are minamil and he treats u like a person! Doctors can be a little money bound!

Sadly enough, choosing a Doctor is a matter of trust, you have to try a few until you find the right one. For the most part, most Doctors do good for people but you do have to look out for sharks, those unethical ones trying to buy new toys by taking everything they can from you.

Not most, they have to pay for the supplies, renting a space, paying the employees, etc. So they need to mark up prices and charge fees to get that all done. If you think you are receiving treatment you don't need you should take that up with your doctor.

Of course. I have heard a lot of doc. do not want to see you every time you come in for prenatal check up because they only get paid a flat few for each visit. That is why you see a mid-wive at most of your visits if it is big office. Everyone is out to make as much money as they can. They do not care about the service they are providing. Just my opinion.
