I have deep respect towards anyone who has a opinion to share that may help me in life. Whether on Yahoo Answers or in other aspects of my life. As for the loving my enemy goes, I do love all people, but I don't love what they say and do sometimes. But I will not pass judgement for that is not in my place to do. The supreme judge is God and He will judge fairly and just to all people, not some people, but all people. Yes even Christians will be judged. But it is up to God to make the final decision as to who goes where...Heaven or hell.
What about you? Do you have respect for the opinions of others in Yahoo Answers or anywhere else in your life?

I love my enemies..I don't consider the college & High school kids that come here saying they are atheist/agnostic my enemy.
Respect for opinions: I guess I could ask you the same! I just read your question about orgasium and the Holy Spirit...doesn't sound too respectful to me..

You know, that's a very difficult thing to do. Yes, Christians are supposed to do those things and want to do those things but, do they come as a natural thing to do? Not for anyone I know. Christianity isn't a "magic" cure to those personality "flaws" that are in conflict with the way God tells us to live. It's a changing process that is not complete until Christians are in heaven with God. If you talk to a Christian they will most likely tell you they are not as good at this treatment of others as they would like to be.

I love my enemies just like a love everybody else. Everybody has enemies, however their people just like you and me. I think that if you don't like somebody, just don't talk to them, but for you to hate them, I think that's just plain foolish! I just have no association with the people that I don't like.
Next, I do respect other people's opinions. I just hate when people mistake opinions from actual facts.

I try to love everybody and I do respect the opinions of others, as long as it not a lot rhetoric that is entirely inane, asinine, or just plain trying to stir up some trouble.

you'd be surprized. a lot of us do.
however loving others and respecting different opinions does not make Christians doormats, willing to be abused just to keep the peace.

What do you mean by love and respect, is an interesting thing to define before you ask that.

People are not the enemy. Satan is. I love people and respect their ´´honest´´ opinions. Satan and his demons are just poor devils

I can't speak for other Christians, but for myself I try to keep an open mind about most things and so far, this has worked for me.
