how do i overcome my fear of rollercoasters

i was just like you hun...it totally sucked going to amusement parks and seeing kids that were like...up to my knees doing all those crazy rides while i was standing there about to just p*ss my pants just by LOOKING @ them. lol. what i did was i took a friend whom i know would do ANYTHING for me. i've known him my whole life and i knew everything would be okay with him-- so we went together on the biggest rollercoaster in the entire amusement park (i would recommend baby steps for some ppl, but this was good for me...lol) and i did it. it was SCARY as h*ll the first time-- i definitely won't lie too you-- but after the first time, i just wanted to stay on it. lol.
to overcome it, you just have to go ONCE-- and that's it. you'll be fine sweetie-- i promise!! good luck!!

Fear of rollercoasters is usually three things: 1. Fear of falling. 2. Fear of not being in control. 3. Fear of trust.
If you resolve #3, the rest fall into place. Think about all the people who do NOT want you to splat on the ground and consider their reasons for wanting to protect you and consider the means by which they can and do protect you. Then imagine yourself as just one speck among a thousand other specks who will take this ride.
The trick is to get yourself aboard - near the back, with a trusted friend. Once you are underway there is nothing you can do; you are stuck with your decision to go ahead. At that point, just delight in the terror and excitement, and revel in the joy at coming out the other end alive.

WEll, I know it's scary but just say to yourself that it's scary but I can get over with it. I won't fall for break my body, the rolercoaster is scary but save.Repeat that in your heart. Rollercoaster is scary but it's save.
