Nope, I love them equally. But if I had to choose between the two, I'd say my wife. I'm an adult now. I don't need my mother as much as my wife. But I still love her equally.

To be asking a question like this, you are either a very controlling mother or a very insecure wife.

A man loves his mother and his wife in different ways and there is no such thing as loving one more than the other.

I have a son who loves his mom very much because I loved him and taught him how to love. I don't stick my nose into his relationship but when he needs to talk things out I let him. I encourage him to work things out and support him as much as I can but I never blame his wife or him. I encourage her and support her as well. She is the mother of my grand child and I want to stay on good terms so I treat her like a daughter, not like somone who stole my son.

I encourage my husband to see his mom as often as he can and if he gives her a dozen roses for mother's day and me only half a dozen, that's great by me, she is his mother and she helped to make him the loving person he is today.

I read the other answers when I finnished mine and had to edit to say to the two guys whose mother's were not there for them or were control freaks, I'm sorry you had mother's like that. To the one who let his father beat him, I am really sorry for that, I hope you are happy now and that you don't do the same thing to your children. I wish you both great happiness.

We should be all one big happy family, not mother versus wife, this is not a competition so a man should not be stressed to choose between his two favorite ladies.

Lets see.. My wife is good to me, takes care of me when i'm sick, loves me no matter what, is a good cook, and is a beautiful person.
My mother let my father beat me nearly to death, kicked me out when I turned sixteen, has never help me with anything, and only calls when she needs something.

My wife wins by a long shot.

this is an absurd question, you cannot compare them as one is parental love and the other is sexual love, its not fare to compare them, but as the song goes if your mother and your wife were drowining who would you choose, i would choose my mother cause you can always get another wife but you can never get another mother in your life, sung by harry belefonte
