He is a really sweet guy just with a major problem. He is 11 years older than me, jobless, basically homeless(lives with his mom), car-less, and hooked on weed. I really care about him but sometimes it seems to be just too much. HELP!!!

Do him a favor: Remove yourself from his subsistence team. Tell him you hope you'll be there when he comes out, but you don't need another child to raise.
Some of us just need a harder kick in the teeth before we start growing up.

I have somewhat the same problem. My wife is a weed and crack head and I finally told her that I was through. I recently had her arrested and someone called Social Services. Now she seem to be finally coming around to her senses.

Trust me, you don't want to be with someone who is like that. He might be sweet as you say, but that doesn't mean he's good for you. I'd get rid of him fast.
