MY FIANCE IS 6.3" IN HEIGHT AND 34 YEARS AND I AM 5.2" IN HEIGHT AND 25 YEARS

I feel a man should be taller than a women. It's a secure feeling. A few years older is fine but anything over 8-10 could be a problem down the road, because of differences in thinking and experiences in life.

Hi Lil $hortie - I'm with you. The younger ones I've met "don't get it" and, even though I'm not that tall, I like looking up to a guy (literally and figuratively). The only one who doesn't seem to care is Nicole Kidman. After her divorce from Tom Cruise, she said "at least I can wear high heels now", but Keith Urban looks shorter than she is. It doesn't really matter as long as you love each other.

Funny, I think most women prefer that, but I like my women to be older then me. I still prefer to be taller though

No, thats pretty much what women have been programmed to want since we lived in caves...! Our instinct is to find someone who is a good father and carer so usually older/taller fits the bill.
Of course we aren't in caves anymore and people who have developed their own preferences (my husband is taller but younger..!) - but yes you are perfectly normal! ;)

Biologically, your programmed to look for big guys who you know can protect you. Over time, part of that has come down to security. Older guys tend to be more stable and have a better support for their lifestyles. Therefore, evolution has hardwired female brains to look for stronger and more stable mates that thye know will protect them and any children that are to be had.
Sorry if it sounds crude, but from my psy. studies, thats how it is. It works the same way for guys, except backwards.

No. It's pretty normal. More girls like taller older guys, than girls that like younger guys.

no thats not a problame my folks are 9 years apart in age my dad is like 1 foot taller then my mom

I prefer my guys to be taller than me, too. That way I can sit on his lap, dance with him with my head in his chest, and rest my head on his shoulder.
