The drink I had and dont know the name of it contained gin, a lime chunk and ice in a high ball glass that was about 4 inches high. The bartender said something about there being 3 squirts of something in the drink.

probably the moast popular drink containing gin is a long island ice t ( gin vodka buron tequila bar sour and a cola toper garnised with lemon) your drink was probably a slow gin fiz

It could be Lime Cordial with plain or tonic water
