I remember when i was younger i used to soak my hair(from the roots to the bottom) in water. The sand comes out. Do this a couple of time and see if it works. Good luck.

Step one: Get to a shower

Step two: wash your hair

Step three: put shampoo in hair

Step four: Rinse

Step five: If sand is still in your hair, repeat steps 2-4

Step six: Remember procedure for next time you come back from the beach.

Wash it, and scratch your head good to make sure none of the sand stays in.

Their are shampoos for people who swim alot ....if yor cocnearned about damage ...but honestly any shampooe will get the sand out of your hair

Wash it w/a gentle shampoo and spray w/a leave on conditioner.
