because this is the english version of the website......they have other versions for people who are from a different country.

Because English is the international language of the internet. Just like it is the international language of airline pilots. Many of the industrial nations on the planet know or at least somewhat speak English, so it is the best choice.
And many don't speak anything else.. Ego hana shi niyo? Parle vous Francias? Nihongo ga hana she mas ka? Spreken zie Dutch?

Speak whatever beautiful language you wish to speak. There are translators such as Babel Fish people can use to translate. I love all languages, and I want to learn more. But, I still have trouble with my native tongue.

Well ... the site is in English, so I presume that's the accepted medium of exchange. And I also don't know any other languages (yes, I suck) well enough to communicate effectively in them.
