I'm just concerned about the yolk. If it's not cooked firmly, might it be bad to heat it up and then cool it down and eat?

While eggs will keep in your refrigerator for several weeks, it's important to note that they can lose some quality.

A little known fact about eggs is that they can absorb odors from your refrigerator if stored in an open container, although this shouldn't be a major problem unless you're storing eggs along side opened containers of onions and garlic or other such strong smelly foods.

Once out of the shell, you can keep eggs whites for about a week in the refrigerator and egg yolks will keep for two or three days, although be sure to cover them with water).

Boiled - Put your eggs in a pot (avoid aluminum as it will darken) and cover with cold water. Add a pinch of salt. Bring the pot to a boil over high or medium high heat, then lower the heat and simmer. Depending on the size of your egg, they will need to simmer for 2-3 minutes for soft boiled, about 4-5 minutes for medium and 15-20 minutes for hard boiled. Drain the eggs and immerse them immediately in cold water to stop the cooking process. Refrigerated boiled eggs will keep for about a week.

Soft boiled eggs? You shouldn't eat a boiled egg if its been in the fridge for over 5 to 6 days. That's being generous.

An egg can stay in the fidge indefinitely if not removed. But I wouldn't try to eat it after the first trimester.hahahaa

But seriously, I think you can safely reheat it, but it may explode if you overcook it, especially in the microwave.

Hard boiled eggs are usually good for at least a week.

Eggs will last for days. I soft boil 7 eggs once per week and have a cold one for breakfast each morning. I would allow 3-5 days for the ribs.

Eggs are very sensitive.
Don't heat them up and cooled them down again.
It might be dangerous.
If they're soft boiled I won't keep them in the fridge.
Eat them right away or trough them out.

I had a couple of Spaniards when I was quite young from Spain that sucked the yokes out of the raw egg & they didn't get sick. Don't know how safe that is now but this was back in the 2nd WW & they weren't the worst for it as I recall.

There is tons of bacteria in the yolk, and I wouldn't suggest ever eating raw egg. If you cook it warm enough again you could kill more bacteria that has developed, but if it was raw and at room temperature after being chilled,if you eat it you could get very sick.
