Yes, my step-sister is one and she is so full of it. She raised all of her girls to be that way too. One daughter got pregnant and married at 19 (to the biggest a**hole on the planet) and another daughter of her's got into some criminal activity and ended up having serve mental problems (she bounced her checks making it hard for her to get a good job, she ran away from home on numerous occasions for some idiot she met online who lived in Texas, and she cuts herself). Born again Christian my foot. She was always judging people when in the Bible it says not to judge. She was always giving me Christian advice, when all I really wanted was to have a normal conversation without the word "God" or "Jesus" or a Bible quote popping in. She was always talking about God this and God that or Jesus this and Jesus that, but she never listened to anyone and their real problems.

I am born again & yes they do piss me off sometimes...in fact I probably do the same to them. I am sure my mouth is going to Hell (lol).
1. You sound just like James in the Bible when he says, "Faith without works is dead."
2. Anyhow, the Bible clearly teaches that you (or anyone) is saved by trusting in Jesus as your savior.
3. Our works/ actions reveal our faith (read 1 John sometime). A person who says, "I am born-again" and hates his brother is showing no evidence that he is "saved". The Bible says, "You will know them by their fruits."
4. Keep in mind that people are in process. I don't know anyone who accepted Jesus and then "Wallah" they were perfect. I, and every "saved" person I know is in process & all, especially me, have a long way to go to be as perfect as Jesus. God is at work in us.
I know your pain,
YP

No, I just sadly shake my head at them because they are so misguided. I hope they wake up to the fact that they were born right the first time around.

The ones that try to force their opinions on me and tell me I'm going to hell if I don't agree with every thing they say really get under my skin. But not all of them are like that.

Yes definitely! The fact they interpret things literally and not allegorically is the reason we have Christian terrorists and people who own guns and hold government accountable and commit murders! their Jebus used allegory, so why aren't they doing the same?!

The hard truth is you know you need religion, but it's not your style. I have nothing against them. I just don't want them telling me about themselves. If you are religious keep it between you and God.
