no. My other two kids didn't wean off the bottle till about 16 mo. or so. Try the soft nuby bottles with the 3 stages. It starts as a bottle, than change the top to a soft sippy cup top, then they can wean to the regular sippy cup. 11 mo. old is still a baby though. Some babies are still on the breast at that time, and most mother start weaning them around 11 months. Mabbee you can try to start weaning your baby a little at a time. Don't do it cold turkey though. It probably won't work.

no dont worry about it ive worked in a daycare for 2 years now and its totally normal. They actually end up usually getting more fluids on the bottle, but start to introduce a sippy cup very soon its never too early it cant hurt anything, but youll probably end up buying a few different types till you find one he/she will like. Ive found that a lot of the kids I work with really like the ones with the straws, the Nuby ones are also good because they have ones with a very soft plastic top , thats more like the nipple on the bottle so it makes for an easier transition, good luck!

Around 11 months, I stopped the bottles and gave my sons cups. Around 6 months, I would give them the cup once a week just to get them used to it. They never showed and interest until 10 months. At 11 months, I just stopped using the bottles and switched to cups.

No...as long as you are trying sippy cups. My 16 month old still has a bottle before bed, I'm not worried!

It is time to wean. Do it very gently, as the bottle may have become her security blanket, so to speak. Take away one of her bottle feeding times (not the nighttime yet) and do that for 2 weeks. Then try another. Be strong...it could be trying, but strive to not backslide. It is like starting over.

No. Kids can be on the bottle until they're teenagers, although usually you'll get them off of it by then. Around age 1 is a good time to try something new.

No way. The only thing you have to start doing is buy him a sippy cup and start getting him/her on it. But leave the bottle to go to sleep and wake up.

Not at all, most people start to introduce the sippy cup at around a year old.....this is the perfect time to start...
