With belief.
Acceptance of the things not seen, heard or proven allow you to progress without fear of the unknown and investigate what you need to know to function without sepending tons of time on the trivial.
i.e. was it a miracle or a magic tricK. Belief say miracle and you can move forward to the result. unbelief say I don't know thets figure it out. If it is a magic trick you may actually figure it out and move on. If it was a miracle you will never figure it out.

With belief. Belief is an insidious mind-killer... it cuts one off from the intellectually honest consideration of alternative possibilities. Belief CREATES certainty in the form of comforting delusions.
You question, though, seems to imply that there is something wrong with 'uncertainty'. There isn't. Uncertainty merely defines our work-scope... tells us what we need to figure out.

if you mean the Heisenberg uncertainty principle , then what more do you need as a scientific proof that things are so random and chaotic , of course you cannot allow belief to guide you if you are a scientist , the whole point is to doubt anything until you can prove it

I'm filled with beliefin uncertain times -
The belief in myself to make decisions to the best of my ability.
The belief in those I love to help me wherever possible.
The belief (the knowledge) that life will carry on no matter how bad it gets, and the conviction that experiencing the worst helps us appreciate the best.
Belief in God? A null point with no significant effect either way.

If you are talking about faith, then faith (belief) in Jesus Christ is the only way to negotiate uncertainty.
