Western Nebraska. It got up to 112 yesterday which was an all time record since they started keeping records. It's 106 now and it's only 2pm. Does it really matter how hot it gets after you hit 100?

In Baghdad the forecast was 111, but our thermometer said 122-ish today. Thank the maker for AC, but when it's this hot, they can only do so much.

It's close to 100 here with 100% humidity. It feels like you're breathing water as soon as you step outside. It does matter, but only if it's humid. If it's a dry heat, then you won't notice it as much, because the hotter it is, the more concentrated the water in the air gets. I'm sticking inside with the air conditioning...I have been thru 100+ summers without it and am now profoundly grateful for the miracle of central air. :)

Here in West Virginia it is currently 98 degrees and climbing. The thing is..here in WV the humidity is so stifling. When you walk outside it feels as if you are in a steam room...lol. The only positive about being here is that the sun goes behind the mountains a little earlier,so it cools somewhat quicker than other areas. I used to live at Myrtle Beach, that is the only place that I can stand hot weather..other than that...give me winter any day.

South Louisiana, 95 degrees, but the humidity is 95% so you sweat like a faucet running.
