Today I bought some grapes, cost $3.99 per lb. So a bag of grapes cost me over 9 bucks. Seems expensive, is it just NYC prices or do you pay the same where you live? What city are you buying your green grapes in?

Indianapolis and i don't pay near that much, about half as much...get out of NYC.

Yesterday the price at the supermarket was $3.49/lb here in Toronto, Canada...price seems to vary quite a bit, but rather expensive lately and hope the price comes down again soon...nothing like cool green grapes to refresh on a hot day!
(Didn't buy the grapes - bought peaches and nectarines instead this week..)

No, I live in North Carolina and I pay between $2 and $2.50 a pound for green grapes, so it might just be NYC prices.
