Could be. You have to read between the lines - their interpretation of God is likely to be much, much more 'transcendental' and deistic than a lot of laypeople (no pun intended). Note that the percentage believing in an afterlife is barely more than 58%. I think the amount who could be described as funamentalist Christian - believe the Bible to be the infallible word of God - would be in the single digits.

There's nothing surprising here. It is said that religion is incompatible with science - not spirituality.

I don't know anything about the credibility of 'Live-science', but the numbers do not surprise me. There was a poll done in 1998 by who??, I forget, but it showed approximately 55% of scientist believed in evolution. It did not state how many believed in God.
If you take a close look at the developments in creation-evolution debate in the last 20 years, you see evolution taking a real beating. Some of the fraudelent claims in the past have not helped evolution, or its proponents at all.

Science is just man's way of defining and understanding God's creations. Accurate? Undoubtedly. Interesting to note is that they have spirituality and a belief in God, but not any defined "religion". Now if one would investigate the validity of the claims of Christ... some things must simply be believed to be seen.

Sure. God is not incompatible with science at all. Science is a process of discovering the world around us. God provides the foundation for why we are living, how we are to live, and how we are to find true meaning in life.

More people believe in God than you think. Question is: Do they accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior?
