Like for 5 months now I go to work and I just feel like crying every morning, then get through the day somehow, and anything, even paying a simple bill, seems impossible and requiring too much energy. So I just lie in bed, on and on. How do I deal with this?

I did go and see 2 doctors. Both said I was overworked and offered vitamins. When that did not work, they offered some mild tranquilizers or similar. The other day I met this guy who said all my enegry is blocked and cannot circulate through my body, and that I am totally wasted already. He said I should get my energy balanced. Any advice as to how I could do this?

Sounds like you could be suffering from depression. You should see a doctor before it gets to a point where you really can no longer help yourself. There are also a LOT of resources on the internet. Educate yourself about depression and get yourself some support!!

It does sound like depression, but it could be something else also. Yes, go to your doctor. If you are not sent for blood tests or all the doctor does is prescribe pills, get a second opinion. We thought my wife had depression and the doctor kept getting the same tests done and only prescribed a tranquillizer which did nothing except aggravate my wife. She went to the walk-in clinic and the doctor there immediately ordered other blood tests and cancer tests within 3 days of the blood work. My wife died on Mother's Day, 16 days after her 56th birthday.
Moral: if you or any of your family have doubts about a doctor, get a second opinion. Also, don't wait to get professional advise. Hopefully it is only a temporary depression.

This sounds like a form of depression. You should seek counseling. Have you mentioned this to your primary care physician? He can recommend a therapist or, if you aren't opposed to it, an anti-depressant such as Prozac or Celexa to help with these feelings.
I have suffered from depression for 20 years. I've been on several anti-depressants (Prozac, Paxil, Zoloft, Lexapro, Celexa) and I seem to respond to Prozac the best. However, I have a habit of trying to 'make it' without the drug. I do ok for a while and then the lack of motivation sets in and the extreme emotional reactions to everyday occurances like crying for no reason. I've tried counselling and that is ok, but can get expensive.
I hope this helps. Just don't be afraid or embarrased to tell your doctor how you feel. They can't help you if they don't know what is wrong.

You are suffering from depression. You need to see a doctor and get meds. Within six weeks after being on meds you will start to feel better. Depression comes in many forms, including physical ailments, like aches, pains, tired all the time, etc. I have been suffering clinical depression for many years and I get the same feelings. Your best bet is to get into a doctor and get on meds before these feelings get worse and you end up hurting someone or yourself. You will get better as long as you seek out the medical help. Good luck.

Sounds like classic clinical depression to me. You might want to see your doctor. Remember, 25% of women will be clinically depressed at some point in her life. You're not alone. Thats 1 out of every 4. Your doctor will understand, and once diagnosed...you'll find support groups and friends who have the same problem. Two heads are always better than one.

Well there are 2 catagories your problem can fall into... MEntal illness---depression.. This means you need help. Call your Dr and make an appointment. Let them help you. Also, have them make sure there is not a physical problem. It is unusual but things like chronic fatigue syndrome can cause listlessness and cause you to feel depressed. Chicken or the egg kinda thing.. The best bet is see your Dr.. Take what he prescribes and be honest with him how it effects you... There is not magical answer here but seeking help is the first step..

It sounds like you might be depressed. I recommend seeing your family doctor and telling them about this. They might recommend some counselling or even medication- be aware that both counselling and medication have the same result, it's just a matter of which you prefer to do.
In the meantime, try to look at the positive aspect of life- you have a job, a home, you're able to take care of yourself... something many people don't have. :)
