What do i do?

Okay, i usually always have my hair put up in the summer bcuz its really hot and i cant stand it when its down bcuz i get really hot, but, when i take it down at night, and i brush it, you can see where the hair tie was at, how do i get rid of it> I know to wash it and stuff, but u can usually see it then too, should i wear my hair down until it goes straight again?

Maybe do a french braid down the back or use a flat iron and straighten the crinkle out when you want to wear it down.

I used to put mine up with an elastic band, and I ended up having alot of breaking hair in the area the band was put. It was awful. By the time I realized it was actually breaking my hair, it was too late to do anything but cut it off.

I then started putting my hair up with a large clip. It holds great and never leaves a mark or breaks my hair. I've been using them for years now. Just twist your hair a couple of times near the neck, fold it up towards the top of your head, put the clip on and let your hair fall down over the clip.

If you are not getting breakage, you can use a straightner to iron out the crease without having to wash it. You need a good one, though, like one from Sally's Beauty Supply. Mine is a GVP, or Generic Value Product and it works just like the Chi irons that cost much more. The flat irons that you find at Walmart don't get hot enough to work very well.

wait for it to dry completely before putting it up.
don't use ponytail holders. find a new way of putting it up.
i know of a few styles where only like 2 or 3 pins are used for updos on super long thick hair.

You should brush it with some type of chimical(hairspray or frizzaway stuff.
