Not literally but they should have to pay a seperate road tax for a caravan and only be able to travel after 10pm and before 6am and then they must park up for the day if not drivers will be shot .

Yes. I live a couple of miles from the largest Caravan park in Europe - they are unslightly, cause traffic chaos on the narrow Devon roads and in the case of Motorhomes usually have arrogant owners (used to work for a garage that serviced the Vans that Hymers are based on)

Oh did you see Top Gear last night, with the team trying a Caravan Holiday

What sort of question is that? Caravans are NOT evil, they are very comfortable living accommodation for families and retired couples who want to get away from the likes of you! I am immensely proud of my caravan and I find Caravanners are in general a very nice bunch of people. Now get back to your own life and leave Caravans alone!!!

Yes. If you've ever spent hours of your life looking at the back of one driving down a narrow country lane in Devon or Cornwall.

I also don't like them as people in the UK plonk them down in their front garden, so all their neighbours have to look at them all year round.

By the way, US respondents, this isn't a question about Dodge Caravans. We are referring to caravans you toe behind your car, and take holidays in. You might know them as trailers. But that's what British people call the caravans that gypsies and tinkers live in on the sides of roads all over the UK. But that's a whole different thing......

My uncle has a 1988 Dodge Caravan and has had a lot of problems
with it. Not sure if the word evil fully describes the misdeeds that
vehicle has perpetrated upon him.

no but for them all to try and drive down Devon country lanes every bank holiday weekend is stupid - so for that matter are the people trying to do the same every bank holiday without towing a caravan.

why follow a crowd like lemmings do your own thing if you want a weekend away take some holiday and don't be a cheapskate and do it on a public holiday it will still cost you more in the long run and be more frustrating!

Yes, along with sunday driving, car coats and string back gloves. Its the kind of evil that lures people into a false sense of security because it all looks so innocent and normal.
